Automotive technician wants to solve city’s problems

Automobile technician Tobi Loopkey says he knows he’s not a typical candidate for Saskatoon city council. “Unlikely candidate, but we’re thinkers,” Loopkey said in an interview. “We’re always solving problems.” Loopkey, 42, intends to give one-term incumbent Coun. Troy Davies a “run for his money” in Ward 4 in the Oct. 26 municipal election. “It seems like something I’d be good at,” Loopkey said. “I’m very opinionated. I have a lot to say and I’d like to see change.”
